Our company history from 1968 until today

1968
Production of aluminum facade elements begins at ALUFE Kft’s facility in Székesfehérvár. At that time, the factory was the largest and most modern manufacturing plant for aluminum facades, windows, and doors in Central and Eastern Europe. In the early 1990s, the company is privatized.

1993
ALUFE is acquired by Munich-based Rheinhold & Mahla AG. With the change in ownership, the company’s name is changed to R&M ALUFE Kft. Numerous major projects are completed in Germany and other countries.

2003
The shares of R&M ALUFE are acquired by the former director for Eastern Europe. The scope of operations is expanded to include the design and construction of complete aluminum, glass, and stone facades.
ALUFE Kft. develops into the leading company in the Hungarian aluminum-glass facade market. In addition, significant international connections are established, primarily in the field of modular facade design and manufacturing.

2005
FRONTAL GmbH is founded as a company specializing in project management for German projects.

2007
FRONTAL Kft. wins its first project in Germany from Daimler Real Estate GmbH. In the following years, additional projects are implemented nationwide.

2014
FRONTAL Kft. receives contracts for major projects such as the Charité University Hospital in Berlin and the Daimler Building 120 in Stuttgart.

2015–2026 
Over the past decade, numerous large-scale projects have been completed for clients such as Daimler Real Estate GmbH, HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH, Ed. Züblin AG, RKM 740 Tower GmbH & Co. KG, IMMOFINANZ AG, Main Square GmbH & Co. KG, and the US Klinik Weilerbach Züblin / Gilbane consortium, with an average facade area of over 10,000 m². The FRONTAL Group’s average annual net revenue over the past five years has exceeded €20 million.
